Although it is increasingly unhelpful to talk about ‘social media campaigns’ (there are just campaigns that might incorporate social media channels/ tactics) it is interesting to look at various ways in which furnishings chain IKEA is using digital platforms. Note that few of these examples involve much dialogue – most are about gaining attention – and that some are inspired by people who don’t work for IKEA.
